Whitebox Plugin - UI Components¶
This is a plugin for whitebox that includes a set of reusable UI components like buttons, spinners and input area that can be used in other plugins.
Installation¶
Install the plugin to whitebox:
Frontend development¶
make build produces ordinary Python source archives without JavaScript. Core
prepares common tooling and explicitly assembles this owner's separate remote
after installation; UI Components needs no private dependency install. In a
prepared backend dev container, use make test-frontend for its source suite. Follow

for prerequisites and source tests.
Whitebox globals must exist before module evaluation. Button reads Whitebox.utils
and Spinner resolves icons.spinner through the component API, not a bundled
sibling checkout. The package ships OverlayPrimitives.css; global Tailwind
classes, design variables and core bootstrap assets still come from the host.
Source tests supply a small setup-time Whitebox mock.
Use the owner application gate to build/install your checkout's wheel and check it in the assembled App. Aggregate application checks use installed image packages, not local plugin edits; that guide lists prerequisites and coverage limits.
